Glenaura Pipes and Drums:
Bringing the Thrill of the Tradition

The sounds and the glory of the Pipes and Drums have been rousing the emotions of people around the world since the beginning of civilization. It is one of the oldest musical instruments played by humans. The popularity of the Pipes and Drums throughout the ages remains among the highest. No Parade or Event is complete without the sound of the Pipes and Drums.

For over twenty years, the Glenaura Pipes and Drums have thrilled audiences in Canada and the United States. Outfitted in their outstanding MacLeod tartan, the dress and deportment of the band carries the traditional Scottish delight of seeing and listening to the stirring music of the highlands.

The Glenaura Pipes and Drums have had the privilege of performing at the Grey Cup, World Curling Championships, 50th Anniversary of the United States Air Force, the Manitoba Men’s and Women’s Provincial Curling Championships as well as countless Parades and Concerts.

Consider the thrill of having the Glenaura Pipes and Drums at your next event. You can engage the full band or as few as one or two Pipers to add decorum and enjoyment to your special event. Individual Pipers can arrive bearing the full great highland bagpipe for your event; for smaller occasions, quieter shuttle pipes, which are suitable for small rooms, can be arranged.

Please contact us to discuss your event and determine if we can fulfill your requirements. Engaging the Band or its members requires a honourarium based on the travel distance and the number of Pipers and Drummers requested or available on your chosen date. Engagements are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
